About Me

I’m a multidisciplinary visual artist currently working and living in Tønsberg, Norway, with a BA in Illustration from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Being artistically guided by my intuition, I view my work as one continuous visual diary. Conceptually I explore that which has no beginning nor end - the obscure, sublime, eerie, ethereal, esoteric, abject and intimate. My work searches within and simultaneously explores the outermost regions of what we know, entering a spiritual and philosophical realm. I create sublimations of my inner world, articulating emotions and states of being through abstract, surreal, delicate and at times anonymous characterizations that are recurring in my visual universe.
